St Michel Thonet Bentwood Chair Collection

These are made in one of the original factories set up by the Thonet Brothers and are still mostly using the original steam ovens, jigs and equipment to bend the Beech Wood components from 1875 (Michael Thonet engineered the production of his designs so well that even with modern technology the original system is still efficient).

Made famous in French Cafe's & Bistro's, a Classic Timeless Design.

The Bentwood St Michel is a stylish chair that has the Thonet handwriting. Sleek, lightweight and neat with a beech plywood seat. The bentwood design is finished with a light, glossy aniline lacquer.

There is a choice of 2 finishes - Off White and French Grey.
